Doug McCutcheon San Angelo Independent School District Athletic Director Doug McCutchen died Tuesday evening, almost a week after he suffered an allergic reaction to pre-surgery drugs that put him in critical condition. McCutchen, 61, went to Community Medical Center on Jan. 19 for a relatively simple procedure to eliminate acid reflux when the reaction occurred. He had been in "critical but stable" condition since then. A memorial service is planned at First Baptist Church and the funeral will be held in Bronte. Dates for the services were not available late Tuesday. Obituary in San Angelo Newspaper http://www.gosanangelo.com/news/2011/jan/25/saisd-athletic-director-doug-mccutchen-dies/ |
