THSADA announces that applications for the 2026 THSADA Scholar-Athlete Scholarship are now open.

    This year, THSADA will award two, one-time scholarships in the amount of $4,000 each:

    ·        One scholarship for a male student-athlete

    ·        One scholarship for a female student-athlete

    The Texas High School Athletic Directors Association is proud to announce the opening of the 2026 THSADA Scholarship Award, created to recognize outstanding student-athletes who exemplify leadership, character, academic commitment, and service to their school community.

    This year, THSADA will award two one-time scholarships in the amount of $4,000 each:

    • One scholarship for a female student-athlete

    Purpose of the Scholarship
    The THSADA Scholarship Award supports graduating seniors who have demonstrated excellence both on and off the field. These scholarships honor students who represent the values of Texas Interscholastic athletic programs—integrity, perseverance, teamwork, and a commitment to personal growth.

    Eligibility
    Applicants must:

    • Be a graduating senior from a Texas high school
    • Participate in UIL-sanctioned athletics
    • Demonstrate strong academic performance and community involvement
    • Be nominated or endorsed by their district or campus athletic administrator who is a member of THSADA

    Application Window
    All materials must be submitted by the posted deadline. April 1, 2026.
